These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of Montessori Makers Alignment Map (“we,” “our,” “the Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

 

1. Who We Serve

Montessori Makers Alignment Map is designed for schools, educators, and families to support teaching, learning, and community building. The Platform is not intended for direct use by children under 13 without the supervision of a parent, guardian, or school.

 

2. Your Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating accounts or uploading data.
   

• Use the Platform only for lawful, educational purposes.
   

• Protect login credentials and not share access without authorization.
   

• Respect the privacy of students, staff, and families by not misusing data accessed through the Platform.
   

3. Our Commitments

We agree to:

• Provide a secure, accessible, and reliable platform.
   

• Maintain student and family data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
   

• Continuously improve the Platform to support schools and equity-centered practice.
   

4. Data Ownership

• Schools and families retain ownership of all personal data entered into the Platform.
   

• Montessori Makers Alignment Map acts as a data processor on behalf of schools.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or related systems.
   

• Upload or distribute harmful code, spam, or malicious content.
   

• Use the Platform in ways that discriminate, harass, or harm others.
   

Violation of acceptable use may result in suspension or termination of access.

 

6. Intellectual Property

• The Montessori Makers Alignment Map name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Montessori Makers Group.
   

• Schools and users may not copy, resell, or create derivative works of the Platform without written permission.
   

• You may download or export reports and data for legitimate educational use within your school community.
   

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide 24/7 uptime. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, outages, or technical failures may occur. We will communicate disruptions whenever possible.

 

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that it will meet every expectation of performance, results, or compliance.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• Montessori Makers Alignment Map and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
   

• Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform will not exceed the amount paid by your school for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
   

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform if Terms are violated or if service agreements with schools expire. Users may request data export before termination.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Schools and users will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.

 

12. Governing Law
